Admissions Clerk
Part Time Days : 9am-1pm Monday-Friday
** Pay rate between $16-18/hour ** (based on experience)

What will I do as a Admissions Clerk for The Wesley Community?
- Answer office phones; refer callers to appropriate person.
- Process mail and correspondence pertaining to your position.
- Make written and oral reports/recommendations to the Admissions Director about office operations and procedures.
- Assist in standardizing the methods in which Admissions will be accomplished.
- Maintain all Admissions files pertaining to your position.
- Assist in preparing and implementation of changes in our systems as necessary or directed.
- Perform functions of computer/data processor as necessary.
- Perform general secretarial/clerical duties including but not limited to typing, filing, faxing, scanning, and word processing as necessary or directed.
- Provide coverage or assistance for Admissions Director as needed.
- Respond to residents, employees, families, visitors, etc. in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Perform general, administrative duties as specifically assigned by the CFO, Administrator, or Resident Financial Services Coordinator.
- Distribute application packets as requested.
- Maintain log of application with status.
- Create and distribute Bed Hold letters.
- Provide facility tours for potential applicants.
- Maintain Day 21 log for potential application needs, request applications as needed.
Admissions Clerk Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalency.
- Computer/word processing experience required.
- Experience in a health care setting preferred.
