Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage daily operations, working closely with the Construction Manager and Foreman.
- Coordinate and communicate with crew members, ensuring timely delivery of materials and managing their needs.
- Oversee the preparation of necessary tools, manpower, and resources to ensure smooth project execution.
- Maintain a safe and efficient work environment by enforcing our TWG Health and Safety Plan.
- Monitor project timelines and production to stay ahead of schedule, adjusting as needed to meet project goals.
- Collaborate with the project team, providing input to schedule updates, progress reports, and cost analysis.
- Lead and participate in the QA/QC process to ensure high-quality standards are met.
Requirements:
- Experience in heavy civil construction, particularly concrete/foundations and self-performed heavy and highway construction.
- Preferred skills include experience with wind farm foundation work or mass concrete pours, proficiency in ASI/ASTM standards and concrete mix designs, OSHA 30 Certification, and relevant training.
- Leadership qualities, such as motivating teams to meet deadlines while maintaining a positive, problem-solving attitude.
- Attention to detail, being organized, resourceful, and able to juggle multiple tasks.
- Experience and education: preferably a construction management or civil engineering degree, along with 5-9 years of experience in heavy civil, highway, bridge/structures, or utility infrastructure projects.
- A minimum of three positive references from employers or clients in the past five years.
