Full Job Description
The West Fork Group is looking for a property manager to join our team. This position is based primarily in Texas City, Tx. This position provides an excellent opportunity for career development and potential advancement .
Position Responsibilities
- Inspect properties regularly to ensure they are in good condition and identify any maintenance needs
- Communicate with tenants on a regular basis to address their concerns, answer questions, and provide updates
- Collect rental payments and ensure timely payment by tenants
- Handle lease agreements and renewals, and coordinate move-ins and move-outs
- Coordinate maintenance and repair work with contractors and vendors
- Market available properties and show them to prospective tenants
- Handle tenant screening and selection process, including conducting background checks and verifying references
- Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations related to property management
Qualifications
The position requires a minimum of one year of commercial/residential property management or property accounting experience. Candidates should have strong communication and organizational skills, an ability to pay close attention to detail, excellent customer service skills and a working knowledge of the day-to-day operations of a multi-tenant property firm. Proficiency to work within Google Drive is required. Familiarity with Buildium and Excel is a plus. Must live in the Texas City or surrounding area and pass a strict background and credit check.
