We are searching for an experienced Corporate Receptionist at our Headquarters facility. The hired applicant will work part-time, Wednesday-Friday, from 8am-5pm.
The Corporate Receptionist will greet all visitors in a friendly and positive manner, and direct them to the proper person, acting as the first point of contact with the company. Properly answer and forward all incoming calls, monitor all facility activity through the corporate security monitoring system and maintain security for the building.

Properly answer and forward all incoming calls, monitor all facility activity through the corporate security monitoring system and maintain security for the building.
Primary Duties And Responsibilities
- Provide a positive first impression to all visitors and callers at The Westervelt Company Corporate headquarters, a secure facility.
- Greet and route all visitors at The Westervelt Company headquarters, utilizing the corporate security monitoring system to screen all activity at the gate and all the facility entrances.
- Answer, screen, and route incoming calls and take messages as needed.
- Maintain security by following procedures, signing in visitors, issuing visitor badges, controlling access in and out of the gate and building, and observing and/or reporting suspicious activity.
- Monitor all facility activity through the corporate security monitoring system.
- Receive alarm notifications for District Offices and route them to the appropriate contact person.
- Provide administrative support for Corporate Facilities and Engineering & Surveying Services, as time allows.
- Maintain the reception area in a neat and orderly condition.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a related reception, administrative or customer service experience within an office environment.
- Position requires a solid understanding of excellent customer service, consistency, and professionalism in all aspects of his/her duties and responsibilities as well as the ability to have a professional demeanor, appearance, and speaking voice.
- Must be able to work effectively, accurately and deal with multiple priorities.
- Must be able to work for extended periods of time within a confined reception area.
- Ability to work assigned hours, as well as be flexible for adjusting schedule and/or other shifts when needed, is needed.
- Previous receptionist or administrative work experience.
