What will you do?
- Run night audit function, reconcile credit card payments, input sales and manual sales sheets, understand guest folio, explanation of billing and how to make any needed corrections
- Review pending advance deposits and charges, check guests in and out of the hotel efficiently
- Quote room rates and room package information, post charges for in-house accounts
- Complete shift closing, drop cash and check payments, securing the bank at all times and follow proper cash handling policies
- Cash handling and accountability; maintain accurate paperwork as it relates to front office operations
- Check and balance the daily figures, post room and tax charges on guest accounts
More about you
- No high school diploma or GED required
- Previous experience in cash handling
- Previous experience in customer service environment is beneficial
- Good communication skills; ability to communicate with guests and team members
- Basic math skills; ability to accurately handle money and count change
- Experience using Microsoft Excel
Physical requirements
- Able to perform long-term standing, walking, bending, reaching, repetitive moving items up to 30 pounds
