OVERVIEW:
As a Spa Attendant at The Westin Nashville, you will engage in the care and keeping of Rhapsody Spa. You will take pride in maintaining the appearance of the spa lobby, locker areas and relaxation lounge by performing basic cleaning duties such as wiping down surfaces and folding towels. You will also actively participate in other areas of the Spa operation, such as maintaining the product availability in the spa guest areas, monitoring stock in treatment areas, and assisting your team as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Provide general spa orientation to guests upon arrival, such as the location and use of locker rooms, lounge areas, and hospitality stations.
- Answer questions about general property information and amenities.
- Escort guests to and from treatment rooms.
- Check computer for updates and changes to schedule regularly throughout the day.
- Stock towels, linens, supplies, and amenities in the locker room, lounge areas, and hospitality stations.
- Anticipate and address guests’ service needs; thank guests with genuine appreciation.
- Offer guests amenities such as water, juice, or heated neck pillows.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstation, treatment rooms, spa/salon locker room, and lounge areas.
- Secure supplies and equipment at the end of each shift.
- Dispose of trash and dirty linens in the proper area.
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications.
- Speak with others using clear and professional language.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships; support team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of employees.
- Comply with quality assurance standards.
- Notify Loss Prevention/Security of any reports of theft.
- Follow company and department policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; wear nametag; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.
- Follow property specific procedures for handling emergency situations (e.g., evacuations, medical emergencies, natural disasters).
- Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
- Reach, bend, twist, pull, and stoop; move, lift, or carry objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds.
- Have access to reliable transportation and follow attendance policy
- Respond to any reasonable task assigned by Spa Manager.
- Assist in other areas of the operation as needed.
- Notify Loss Prevention/Security of any reports of theft.
- All other duties as assigned.
