Westwood Country Club is seeking motivated individuals to join our golf course maintenance team as Pre-Apprenticeship/Seasonal employees. This opportunity offers hands-on training alongside experienced management and professional technicians, providing real-world experience in golf course maintenance.
After completing the six-month Pre-Apprenticeship program, individuals may have the opportunity to enter a two-year Apprenticeship program, gaining expertise through work experience, mentorship, and formal education.

Job Responsibilities:
- Learn all aspects of golf course maintenance
- Perform daily golf course and clubhouse landscape maintenance tasks
- Tasks include but are not limited to: mowing, trimming, bunker maintenance, course setup, divot repair, irrigation repair, pesticide/fertilizer applications, equipment maintenance, tree care, and landscape beautification

Desired Skills:
- Ability to work professionally in a team environment
- Strong communication skills with supervisors and team members
- Willingness to learn and retain new skills to uphold WCC’s high standards
- Capable of working in all weather conditions, lifting 40 lbs, and performing physical tasks (walking, bending, twisting)
- Previous golf course or landscaping experience is a plus but not required
- Reliable transportation is necessary
