What are the responsibilities and job description for the Upper School French Teacher position at The Wheeler School?
The Wheeler School, a co-ed, N-12 independent day school with city and farm campuses serving approximately 800 students in the Greater Providence and Greater Boston areas, is seeking a full-time Upper School French Teacher.
We are looking for candidates who are able to teach all levels of French up to and including Advanced Placement. Successful candidates will possess a strong background in French, a deep commitment to the experience of the student, an interest in innovation, an ability to teach a range of learners, and strong collaborative skills. Proficiency in Spanish is also desirable (but not required). As a teacher at Wheeler you will become part of a dynamic and passionate faculty and work with talented and engaged students every day. Fluency in the language and commitment to oral proficiency for students is a requirement. The position also involves serving as an advisor to middle schoolers, including related advising responsibilities.
