Host/Food Runner

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Host/Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Great pay and nightly tips included, as a HostFood Runner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, enhancing their dining experience. This position requires excellent communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional guest service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately.
• Ensure that all orders are complete and presented beautifully before serving to guests.
• Assist servers in managing table turnover and maintaining a smooth flow of service.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to relay any special requests or modifications from guests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including clearing tables and resetting them for new guests.
• Provide assistance to guests as needed, ensuring their needs are met promptly.
• Uphold high standards of customer service and hospitality at all times.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations and communication.
• Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems is a plus.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent phone etiquette for handling guest inquiries or reservations if needed.
• A team player who is willing to help colleagues and contribute positively to the overall dining experience.

Pay: Up to $20.00 per hour
