We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are washed and sanitized efficiently. This position is essential for supporting our cooks and food service staff, contributing to a smooth operation in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of trash regularly.
• Assist cooks with food preparation as needed, including basic food handling tasks.
• Support banquet and catering events by ensuring all necessary items are cleaned and ready for service.
• Buss tables after meals to ensure a tidy dining environment for guests.
• Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation practices.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during peak service times.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a food service or hospitality environment is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of basic culinary terms and practices is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to help others in the kitchen as needed.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks within the culinary setting.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights as required in the kitchen.
