The Whitestone Group Inc. is an industry leading security company providing services to the U.S. Government with an international presence. The company is currently seeking to hire Access Control Officers in Redstone Arsenal, Alabama.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and provide written and oral status reports on specialized security equipment to include but not limited to x-ray machines, metal detectors, electronic security system components, handheld, and fixed detectors.
- Perform access control by verifying and validating requested permissions to enter/exit all identified access control points.
- Perform security related administrative duties identified within the SOP at all identified facility access control points.
- Perform key control, access control measures, patrols and procedures.
- Validate the security of access points leading into restricted/classified areas.
- Visitor badging and escort
Qualifications:ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be US citizen (native born or naturalized)
- Must be minimum 21 years of age
- Must possess a fully adjudicated Secret Security Clearance from the Department of Defense. Interm clearances can not be accepted.
- Possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent or higher education
- Able to pass a physical exam/drug screen
- 2 years prior security and access control experience
- Must have a clean record for a federal background investigation
- Speak and be literate in English to the extent of writing, reading and understanding printed regulations, orders, instructions, etc.
- CPR / First aid certification
Base pay is $15.55 per hour, $4.41 additional per hour earned in Health and Welfare. This will be in your regular payroll compensation.
