ASSISTANT VDC ENGINEER
Job Location: Based in Towson, MD or Brooklyn, MD

Whiting-Turner is looking for an individual who can support team members by providing a wide range of daily tasks. This individual must be skilled in organization, time management, communication, and problem solving. This individual will be responsible for strategizing, creating, maintaining, organizing, managing, and distributing information and materials for the team. This is an entry level position. Periodic travel may be required (1-2 days at a time.).

- Inventory and Supply management: Organization and logging of digital equipment inventory
- Work independently and organize complex clerical tasks
- Packaging, Receiving, and Shipping digital equipment via UPS
- Database entry and reporting for accounting systems
- Scheduling and job tracking
- Facilitating travel coordination
- Document Management and organization
- Internal event planning
- Collaboration with team members to determine best strategies for sales
- Evaluating business trends and key performance indicators
- Create all material needed for sales and education (presentations, branding, marketing materials, etc.)
- Prepare any necessary market research reports
- Update and maintain marketing outreach feedback
- Preparing teams for and be part of client interactions
- Meet strict timelines and perform multiple tasks
- Microsoft Office 365 (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, Outlook, OneNote, etc)
- Company opportunity and project management software
- General Office Technology
- Ability and desire to learn new technologies applicable to the construction industry
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction, or similar field.
- Prefer interest building or design industry, but not necessary
- Prefer familiarity with Shipping Software (Such as UPS or USPS)
- Prefer inventory management experience
