The Whole Shebang Events is a boutique wedding planning company based out of the North Carolina Mountains. Most of our events take place at upscale resorts and venues in Boone, Blowing Rock, Linville and Banner Elk. Our focus is on high end customer experience.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years related experience in event planning and/or venue, hotel or restaurant industry.
• Strong customer service skills
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, client-facing team setting
• Ability and eagerness to work evenings and weekends April-October
• Excellent time management and self motivation
• A proven record as a resourceful problem-solver
• Emotional maturity, an amiable disposition and self-confidence

Physical Requirements:

• This position requires the ability to walk unaided up and down hills and over uneven terrain.
• The employee must also be able to bend, stoop, reach above their head and have use of fine and gross motor skills.
• The employee must have normal vision and hearing ability with correction.
• The employee must have the ability to travel, occasionally overnight, and drive a car with a valid driver’s license.
• The employee must be fluent in English.
• The position demands frequent exposure to inclement weather.
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move heavy objects or boxes.
