Global food manufacturer is currently in search of an experienced Plant Engineer with strong controls experience to join its team within one of its highly automated plant locations in Memphis, TN
The Plant Engineer will have responsibility for oversight of all capital projects within the facility, working closely with the corporate engineering team, including key projects on both food packaging and food processing production lines. The Plant Engineer will also work hand-in-hand with the maintenance department, offering guidance related to electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
Key requirements to be considered for this opportunity :
- You must have a BS Degree in an engineering field
- You must have at least five (5) years of experience as a Plant Engineer within a highly automated food manufacturing facility , including experience with processing equipment, packaging equipment, and automated case packing and palletizing systems
- You must have demonstrated experience in leading multiple capital projects
- You must have expert-level knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, robotics, factory automation and process control
- You should have strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD. SAP experience is also a plus.
- You should have excellent communication skills and an ability to work cross-functionally throughout the plant. This position requires a team approach and a willingness to spend the bulk of your time on the plant floor.
- You must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
Our client company will offer a base salary of $125-140k DOE, bonus opportunity, excellent benefits that begin on day one of employment, matching 401(k) and strong PTO plan.
