We are a team committed to service, to bettering our communities, and the world.Job Summary : Membership Portfolio Management 40% / Data Entry 40% / Events 10%Perform other Job Duties as assigned 10%The Animal Adoptions / Memberships / Pledges Associate will support the strategic Donor Relation efforts for our non-profit organization Department by aiding in event support, data entry, donor relations, creating personalized communication, and performing other department activities, with an emphasis on membership profiles and adoptions. This role personally identifies, cultivates, solicits, and stewards any animal adoptions and prospects in accordance with organizational procedures and goals. Incorporates collaborative relationships with other departments / colleagues and memberships by coordinating solicitation efforts, executing internal processes and procedures, and aligning outreach efforts for multiple programs and initiatives within the department. Will assist other associates with working events including but not limited to coordination, set-up, and tear down. Events may include a need for in-state travel.Minimum Job Requirements : Bachelor’s degree preferred; at least 3-5 years of documented professional experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified or combined education with experienceExperience in a nonprofit sector preferredStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficient data entryProficient with Word / Computer based software programsOpen availability for eventsRequired / Other Qualifications : Solid understanding of donor relationsAble to learn and perform tasks on software programs (Excel, Word, Altru, etc.)Able to maintain confidentiality; demonstrates sound judgement and discretionAbility to liaise with other departments to achieve a common goalAble to lift 50lbs or moreFlexible to working weekends and some evenings (Events) as neededAbility to work as a teamAttention to DetailAble to work Sunday through Thursday ScheduleFunctions / Job Duties : (including but not limited to) : Prepare all membership relation plans and ensure compliance to all company proceduresMonitor all membership / animal adoption activities including data entry and profile overviewPerform research on various projects to prepare all projections for revenueAchieve all department objectives including providing supportMaintain an effective network of all community organization partnershipsProcess reports, QA spreadsheets / data, and track activities in fundraising database and electronic / hard-copy filing systemAnalyze all contract procedures and assist to implement policiesDevelop and maintain professional relationships with all donorsPerform regular / daily data entry and research when applicableMaintain an effective portfolio for all donors and ensure optimal usage of all fundraising software and monitor gift cycles for all department needsMonitor all events and activities and ensure effective and appropriate implementations and provide assistance to the event / s when needed.Conduct, write, edit, and / or participate in the preparation of persuasive, accurate, and grammatically and syntactically correct solicitations, proposals, case statements, reports, correspondence, and other department-related communication materials in support of the organization’s data entry activities.Events - Including coordination, set-up, and tear down.
