Summary
This position is primarily responsible for cleaning and organizing skulls and horns as they are received and prepared for taxidermy.
Essential Functions
- Have a working knowledge of NetSuite and help to maintain the system
- Have a working knowledge of the whole system from Tannery to Taxidermy
- Help maintain and influence the system to work smoothly
- Catalog skull and horns as received from Tannery
- Take pictures and note anything that is broken or needs attention; give to Wendy
- Catalog skulls and horns for storage until needed by Taxidermy
- Clean skulls and horns for Taxidermy to mount
- Work with Taxidermy on what needs to be prepped for mounting
- Have skulls and horns prepped and clean to ensure no bug will infest a finished mount
- European mount skull
- Maintain a long-term degreasing/whitening process
- Constantly evaluate process/processes for better quality and increased productivity
- Take an active part in maintaining a “bug free” environment throughout the mounting and staging process
- Be able to maintain several processes by multitasking
- Catalog skull and horns as received from Skinning Department and Customer Service
- Perform other duties as assigned by managers or supervisor

Required Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Taxidermy or related experience
Physical Demands
This job requires the ability to bend, stand and lift. Must be able to stand for extensive periods of time. Lifting requirements are classified and Medium Work. Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or less than 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This position is a full-time hourly position of 40 hours. Standard weekly hours are Monday through Friday 7:00 am-3:30 pm. Occasional overtime will be required during the busy season. In state or out of state travel may be required to assist on deliveries and/or mountain jobs.
