This role typically reports to the Sr Director, Consumer Insights and is based in our Buckhead office in our on-site work environment (Mon-Thurs on-site).
60%: Project Management Support Across Critical Consumer Insights Programs
- Analyze data across both Qualitative and Quantitative initiatives
- Design custom quantitative surveys based on aligned business questions and study objectives
- Create concise presentations that clearly communicate insights and drive a business decision
- Synthesize data using visualization tools for impactful storytelling
- Supervise vendor performance and ensure adherence to budget and schedules
30%: Foresight and Trends Expert
- Socialize market and macro trends to inform business strategies
- Monitor competitive activity and trends, creating custom reports that illuminate category trends and innovations
- Partner with Marketing, Merchandising, and Retail to create content for strategic meetings
- Mine secondary and syndicated research for trends to inform innovation and customer activations
10% Social Listening, Data Mining, and New Method Development
- Monitor eMarketer, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X/Twitter, etc. as source material for consumer trends
- Interweave syndicated and secondary research results with primary research and social media findings
- Scan the marketplace for cutting edge research techniques and develop recommendations for adding relevant techniques/methodologies to the Carter’s Inc. research toolkit
- Maintain the Consumer Insights repository, ensuring frequent cataloging and database maintenance
We’d Love to hear from you if: (Requirements section)
Must have:
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree related to Marketing, Statistics, Psychology, Cultural Anthropology, Business
Administration, or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Math).
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (3.2 GPA or higher strongly preferred)
- Required to have graduated within 6 months of class start date
- Must be able to start in the role full time by June 2025
- Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
Preferred skills and experience:
- Experience with SQL, Tableau, Microsoft PowerBI, SPSS a plus
- Strong analytical and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and on project teams
- Flexible communication style to collaborate with multiple stakeholders from varying backgrounds.
- Adaptive in work style to support Consumer Insights team, analytics shared service and center of excellence in supporting Marketing and Retail teams
