About The Williamsport Home
The Williamsport Home, situated on an 86-acre gorgeous campus, proudly continues its long-standing tradition of caring by providing compassionate service and employment for nearly 150 years to the greater Lycoming County. The Williamsport Home consists of a Continuing Care Retirement Community that offers Independent Living Apartments, individualized Personal Care programs, Skilled Nursing Care, Short-term Rehabilitation, a secured Memory Care unit, as well as End of Life Suites/Comfort Care Services.
Summary of PCHA Duties:
Oversees the daily clinical and administrative operations of Independent Living and Personal Care units to ensure that each resident receives the necessary care and services to attain physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being, in accordance with their plan of care.
- Works closely with the Executive Team to meet the mission, core values and initiatives of the Facility.
- Responsible for hiring, orienting, evaluating, supervising, scheduling, counseling and disciplining team members.
- Maintains full compliance with the Department of Human Services (DHS) regulatory guidelines and is responsible for quality management and ensuring policies and procedures are followed and up to date.
- Responsible for completing required DHS paperwork and staff scheduling.
Requirements of PCHA:
- Must be a licensed Personal Care Home Administrator, PCHA
- Candidate should have 1 to 3 years Exp. serving in a PCHA role.
- Prior supervisory experience in residential living services and personal care is a must.
- Union experience is a plus.
- Preferred that candidate is a Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN.
