Clinical Site Supervisor – Job Description
Position Summary
The Willow Center – Pittsboro is seeking an experienced, professional, ethical, compassionate, detail-oriented Clinical Site Supervisor to join and lead our clinical team at our Pittsboro location. This leader will work directly with clinical staff by providing supervision, mentorship, accountability, and support. This leader will teach our clinicians best practices; actively observe and evaluate their clinical work; prioritize our clients’ outcomes and experience; provide programmatic oversight; and be responsible for reporting on specific Key Performance Indicators to the TWC Leadership Committee.
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: $65,000-$75,000, Dependent upon licensure and experience.
Required Education/Licensure: LCSW (No other license eligible to apply).
Responsibilities and Duties (*Including but Not Limited to)
- Observe, constructively critique, encourage, mentor, teach, hold accountable, and support all clinical staff at our Pittsboro location on a regular basis.
- Provide individual “supervision hours” for clinical staff working toward licensure requirements as applicable.
- Host group clinical supervision and staffing meetings on a regular basis.
- Observe each therapeutic groups regularly to keep a pulse on group clinicians and offer any guidance / support as needed.
- Assist and guide clinical staff in their professional development and goals.
- Facilitate group trainings for the clinical team including modality reviews, clinical skills, and other special needs as they arise.
- Be available for clinical staff to discuss any client concerns or staffing issues day to day.
- Manage and facilitate corporate compliance to all applicable clinical and business standards as related to the position.
- Manage, measure, evaluate, and develop clinical programs and services for The Willow Center – Pittsboro.
- Produce reports on deliverable Key Performance Indicators related to program outcomes, client outcomes, and clinical staff performance/progress/development.
- Conduct individual therapy with own limited caseload of 15-20 clients with various mental health and/or addiction related needs.
- Be available to occasionally cover group therapy sessions in the event of staff illness or absence.
- Communicate effectively and clearly with other staff, clients, clinicians, parents or family members of clients, and external providers.
- Display hospitality to guests and clients, exhibiting a willingness to create a meaningful and uniquely better experience for our clients.
- Maintain confidentiality for clients, families and the center by abiding by all applicable HIPAA and related regulations.
- Exhibit commitment and dedication to practicing ethically and equitably.
- Learn and use company required software, such as Electronic Health/Medical Records.
- Know and follow policies and procedures of The Willow Center.
- Ability to perform other assigned duties/tasks.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Must have at least 5 years of previous clinical experience working with youth (children and/or adolescents), and/or in school-based settings.
- Must have at least 2 years of experience managing and supervising other clinicians.
- Must be comfortable and competent in working with individuals who have experienced complex trauma, mental health struggles, and/or addiction.
- Must have a strong, demonstrated knowledge of good clinical judgement and wisdom that prioritizes client outcomes and preventing harm.
- Must be a masterful communicator, both individually and in group settings, handling difficult conversations with poise and professionalism.
- Must have a basic understanding of data, statistics, and program management.
- Must be committed to fostering a culture of recovery, health, and wellness for our clients.
- Must be well organized, be flexible, be patient, and be willing to learn.
- Must participate in and actively contribute to our team culture.
- Must be energetic, motivated, self-sufficient, creative, and reliable.
- Must complete and pass a full criminal background check.
- Must possess basic First Aid and CPR certification, or be willing to get certified within 6 months of hire.
- Must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
