The Staff Scheduler is vital to the success of our assisted living communities, especially our nursing department. Your role will be responsible for maintaining staff schedules and plugging holes where needed. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a CNA or CMA to better understand the needs of the staff and our residents.
Primary responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Ensure nursing department schedule is complete and adjust as needed
- Coordinate with Health Care Coordinator and LPN staff to determine staffing levels and needs
- Cultivate PRN pool to cover area communities as needed
- Develop metrics to determine appropriate staffing levels and needs
- Receive call-offs from staff and adjust schedule accordingly
- Work with management to determine future needs based on PTO requests
Requirements
The Staff Scheduler must demonstrate knowledge of scheduling/staffing software. We are looking for a committed individual with previous experience in a similar position.
