Job Title : Digital Marketing Technology Manager

Location : New York, NY (Hybrid 3 days onsite per week)

Employment Type : Contract-to-Hire

Pay Rate : $110.00 - $120.00 / hr

Job Summary :

Client is seeking a Digital Marketing Technology Manager to join its Digital Team for the US and Canada markets, including support for LGbeauty.com and other brand initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience working on enterprise websites, email development, marketing automation, and eCommerce tracking, with a strong understanding of web analytics and tag management tools. This role will report to the Head of Digital and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven marketing strategies and automation.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead and manage a team responsible for email marketing and marketing automation.
  • Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to manage API calls, ETLs, and data flow between eCommerce platforms, CRM, and ESP systems.
  • Manage marketing data architecture to support email marketing, automation, tracking, and dynamic content personalization.
  • Oversee website tagging, tracking, and analytics, utilizing tools such as Google Tag Manager (GTM), Google Analytics, and Microsoft Clarity.
  • Ensure accurate data tracking and troubleshooting through debugging tools like Tag Assistant and browser console.
  • Design and manage event tracking, eCommerce tracking, and consent management setups to ensure compliance with data regulations.
  • Create reports and dashboards in Looker Studio to provide visual insights for the digital marketing and merchandising teams.
  • Develop and maintain web SOPs and training documentation to streamline marketing technology processes.
  • Translate complex business strategies into automation and personalization efforts, ensuring seamless user journeys across digital channels.
  • Drive segmentation and personalization strategies to enhance customer experience through email marketing, on-site personalization, and cross-channel marketing initiatives.

Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in website management, eCommerce, or digital marketing technology.
  • 3 years of experience in email development and marketing automation, supporting triggered, real-time, and campaign-based communications.
  • Strong technical expertise in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for web and email development.
  • Hands-on experience with Tag Management tools, such as Tealium or Google Tag Manager (GTM).
  • Proficiency in debugging and testing tools, such as Tag Assistant, Debugger, or browser console.
  • Understanding of enterprise ESP configurations and data-driven marketing automation.
  • Experience working with BI, IT, and Analytics teams to drive data insights and validation.
  • Knowledge of web accessibility, compliance standards, and upcoming regulations.
  • Ability to communicate technical recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Proven ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments and solve challenges creatively.
  • Preferred Skills :

  • Experience with Looker Studio, Power BI, or other data visualization tools.
  • Familiarity with consent management platforms for data privacy compliance.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience in data-driven marketing strategies.
  • Knowledge of marketing automation best practices and CRM integrations.
  • Salary : $110 - $120
