JOB SUMMARY
Under the direction of Pricing Manager, the Accounting Assistant 2 is responsible for reviewing invoices, doing data entry, managing price corrections, providing support for problem solving and communicating with all necessary parties to ensure that we are offering our customers that best products and services. This role is eligible for US remote-based work.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Provide pricing support including but not limited to reviewing price changes and/or discrepancies while communicating with customers and sales staff to develop solutions.
Manage a region of customers for all pricing needs to including state postings when applicable.
Apply critical thinking skills to reduce errors, leverage systems capability and minimize shortfalls to accrual values or other defects.
Perform proactive research and analysis, cross-functionally within the team and in collaboration with Customer Service to identify process gaps and/or to account for shortages leading to financial adjustments.
OTHER FUNCTIONS
Research and resolve cost discrepancies with product pricing.
Enter and maintain pricing in JDE system.
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the pricing database.
Proactively collaborate with the Customer Service, Logistics, Sales and Finance to drive solutions that support the account strategy, financial goals, and resolution of challenges as they arise.
Coordinate with internal departments to audit pricing of existing products and implement pricing for new products.
Assist in resolving unique, complex and often data intense issues directly related to sales deals, special pricing or other significant customer “offers” which may affect the accuracy of the business’ reported financials.
Expand and develop knowledge of the business infrastructure to enable cross collaboration.
Maintains and manages special pricing for specific assigned region.
Support existing account relationships to ensure they remain healthy, productive, profitable and mutually beneficial.

QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 5 years of general business experience.
Knowledge JD Edwards application preferred.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook and Word).
Highly motivated with strong work ethic and desire for continuous improvement.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
Ability to handle and maintain confidential information.
Ability to learn new concepts and skills quickly.
Ability to prioritize while able to adapt to changing priorities.
Work independently within set guidelines.
Demonstrated reliability and punctuality, work effectively in team environment, adherence to all safety regulations and operating procedures.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, standing and twisting.

Hourly Pay Range Posted: $22.16 - $33.22/hr.
Actual compensation will be based on factors such as experience; skills, knowledge, and abilities; education; and other position related factors.
