Digital Communications Manager
Status: Part-time
Compensation: Hourly
Location: Hybrid (Remote and On-campus)
The Winston School of Short Hills welcomes applications for a Digital Communications Manager. This position will oversee all aspects of The Winston’s School’s internal and external communications efforts.
Reporting to The Director of Institutional Advancement, this role will be responsible for overseeing all social media, digital marketing, email correspondence, and website management.
This position will:
- Develop content and a post bank for all social media channels, i.e. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter,
LinkedIn, posting on a daily schedule and tracking community engagement.
- Institute creative social media and web campaigns targeted to specific audiences and track the results.
- Manage all digital marketing efforts on Winston’s online profiles, i.e. privateschoolreview.com, niche.com, etc.
- Oversee Winston’s internal Communications Calendar to ensure that all digital emails are sent on an organized schedule.
- Organize and create engaging internal email templates in MailChimp and track send, open, and bounce rates.
- Design graphics and templates in Canva, utilizing Winston’s style guide, for use across all digital communications channels.
- Manage all content and distribution of the online newsletter, Winston Weekly.
- Update and edit Winston’s webpage improving layout, style, and content.
- Design all paper marketing materials, i.e. brochures, rack cards, and flyers for special events and activities.

Qualifications:
- Expertise in creating social media and email marketing campaigns.
- Extensive experience in search engine optimization and website content management; Blackbaud website management a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (excel); Microsoft Publisher/Adobe a plus.
- Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, sheets, slides).
- Excellent attention to details.
- Experience using digital image creators (Canva or Photoshop).
- Able to create special projects such as: slide shows, Facebook Live events, etc.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Is a motivated, creative thinker
- Enjoys working independently and in a team atmosphere
Environment:
This position offers the ideal candidate a hybrid working environment split between remote and on-campus locations. This position may require evening and weekend availability, on occasion.
