What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Inspector position at THE WISE COMPANY?
Work as part of the quality team monitoring the quality of materials, finished goods and work in progress.
Experience – Demonstrated ability to perform all trained processes and duties within a reasonable timeframe established by employer. Demonstrated ability to follow standard operations and instructions with minimal supervision. Willingness to accept training for new operations as business needs arise.
Tasks
· Perform quality checks on products and parts.
· Follow work instructions and company procedures.
· Accept and reject materials based on quality objectives and requirements.
· Document and report inspection findings.
· Maintain and report daily production counts on all finished goods.
· Perform product identification and traceability activities as required.
· Ensure inspection equipment is calibrated.
· Read and interpret specifications from blue prints, product specifications or work instructions.
· Tidy, sweep, or otherwise clean work areas.
· Complete production reports to communicate team production level to management.
· Supervise other inspectors and train newer employees on job procedures as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $15.01 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
