The Wistar Institute is seeking outstanding candidates for faculty positions at the Assistant, Associate and full Professor level in all Institute Centers including:
Ellen and Ronald Caplan Cancer Center with programs focusing in Molecular and Cellular Oncogenesis and Genome Regulation and Cell Signaling dedicated to fundamental and translational research in cancer biology, immunology, virology and genetics
HIV Cure and Viral Disease Center dedicated to bench-to-beside biomedical research to discover a cure for HIV and other viral threats.
Vaccine and Immunotherapy Center dedicated to immunology, virology and immune-oncology disciplines to create intervention and treatments for widespread diseases
Applicants who have established strong publication track records and a trajectory toward or established independent research supported by extramural funding are of high priority. The successful candidates will be expected to pursue extramurally-funded competitive research programs with a primary focus on basic and/or translational studies in the context of the respective center.
