A Post-Doctoral Fellow position is open in the laboratory of Dr. Paul Lieberman at The Wistar Institute in Philadelphia, PA. Research in the Lieberman laboratory centers on understanding how cancer-associated viruses persist in a latent state and increase the risk of cancer and autoimmune disorders. The lab focuses on two human tumor viruses, Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) and Kaposi’s Sarcoma Associated Herpesvirus (KSHV), and how they persist in a latent state and drive carcinogenesis or autoimmunity (https://wistar.org/our-scientists/paul-lieberman).
Candidates should have a PhD (or equivalent) degree or should be close to obtaining their doctoral degree.
