As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to join our dedicated team.

Job Overview : As a Manufacturing Supervisor , you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of our manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for overseeing our production team members, managing workflow, and ensuring that quality and safety standards are consistently met. The successful candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing processes, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to driving continuous improvement.

This position will oversee the Assembly line which produces automated dispensing products such as vending machines, lockers, etc.

Key Responsibilities :

Supervise and lead the manufacturing team : Provide guidance, support, and direction to ensure a cohesive and high-performing team. Initiate disciplinary actions.
Time Management : Manage timesheets, time off, and employee coverage.
Production Planning : Collaborate with production planning and scheduling teams to ensure optimal resource utilization and on-time delivery of products.
Quality Control : Monitor and enforce quality control processes to ensure products meet or exceed industry standards.
Safety Compliance : Ensure that all manufacturing activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
Process Improvement : Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency improvements. Implement and monitor continuous improvement initiatives.
Training and Development : Foster a culture of learning and development within the team. Provide training as needed to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree or 4 years equivalent experience required.

Proven experience as a Manufacturing Supervisor or similar role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

Exposure working with Unions.

In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety protocols.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Proficient in using manufacturing software and systems.

Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Ability to communicate proficiently verbally and through electronic media

Physical Requirements :

Mobility : The ability to move around the manufacturing facility, including walking, standing, and climbing stairs, is often essential for a Manufacturing Supervisor. This is necessary to oversee operations, address issues on the production floor, and ensure smooth workflow.

Lifting and Carrying : The position may involve lifting and carrying moderately heavy objects, equipment, or materials. A Manufacturing Supervisor may need to assist with the handling of products or components, especially during troubleshooting or quality control processes.

Manual Dexterity : Good manual dexterity is important for handling tools, equipment, and performing tasks that may require precision. This can include manipulating small parts, adjusting machinery, or using various tools.

Stamina : Manufacturing Supervisors may work in fast-paced environments, and the role may require the stamina to remain active and engaged throughout the workday. This could involve dealing with unexpected challenges, resolving issues promptly, and meeting production deadlines.

Health and Safety Compliance : Manufacturing Supervisors should be familiar with and adhere to health and safety regulations. This includes the ability to lead by example in promoting a safe working environment and ensuring that employees follow proper safety protocols.
