Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee the daily operations of our kitchen. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for food service, ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently. As the Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for managing kitchen staff, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring high-quality food preparation.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff activities to ensure efficient workflow.
- Oversee food preparation and presentation to maintain quality standards.
- Implement and enforce food safety protocols and sanitation practices.
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste.
- Develop training programs for new staff members to enhance their skills in food handling and service.
- Maintain a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and collaboration.
- Monitor kitchen operations to ensure compliance with health regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with other departments to create menu items that meet customer preferences.
Experience
- Proven experience in kitchen management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of food handling, safety regulations, and sanitation practices.
- Experience in training development for kitchen staff is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on team development and motivation.
- Familiarity with inventory control processes and cost management strategies.
- A background in coffee preparation or service is a plus but not required.

Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $11.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
Shifts are Monday - Friday 7:30am - 3:30pm; Friday 4:30 - 10:30pm
No Weekends; One night a week
