Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Director to oversee the maintenance operations of our facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and upkeep of our buildings and equipment.
Duties
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures, strategies, and systems
- Manage a team of maintenance staff, providing guidance and support
- Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement or repair
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement solutions promptly
Skills
- Proficiency in HVAC systems and industrial maintenance practices
- Strong knowledge of facilities management principles
- Experience with logic controllers, ohmmeters, voltmeters, and electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret schematics accurately
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Leadership abilities to effectively manage a maintenance team
