POSITION SUMMARY
The Laundry/Utility Aide supports Skilled Nursing Operations and Resident quality of life by ensuring a steady supply of clean, folded personal and institutional laundry and linens as well as other supplies. The Utility Aide also completes light housekeeping and tidying tasks around the neighborhood and enables direct care nursing staff to focus on clinical and personal duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Responsible for the collection, sorting, washing, drying, and distribution of resident laundry.
- Stocks resident rooms with appropriate types and quantities of bed and bath linens and incontinence supplies.
- Packages and removes soiled towels and bed linens to hamper for off-site laundering
- Performs light cleaning duties according to schedule (daily, weekly, monthly) in assigned areas.
- Collects trash and refuse from work areas and places in designated pick-up areas.
- Maintains equipment and materials needed to perform work in a clean and orderly condition.
- Reports any needed repairs to Supervisor.
- Reports supply and equipment needs to Supervisor for replenishing.
- Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
- Advances the Art Of Caring using the Woodlands Hospitality Model

Educational Requirements and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous housekeeping/Laundry experience preferred.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
