We are seeking an additional Team Member to complete a new opening for a part time Hospitality Officer (Unarmed security) at our premiere Retirement and Senior Care Community. Individual will maintain the safety of the community during the evening/overnight hours. This role is also very Customer Service focused so the utmost level of professionalism and Hospitality is a must.

POSITION SUMMARY

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following duties are normal for this position. This list is not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.
- Performs operational duties as assigned.
- Patrol all areas of the property and assist residents as needed
- Conduct daily physical hazard inspections
- Respond to emergencies and assist residents/employees during emergency situations
- Defuse disturbances and escort individuals from the property if necessary
- Conduct investigations, gather evidence, and facilitate interviews with relevant parties
- Complete required shift reports and maintain confidentiality of all documents
- Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Educational Requirements and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Hotel or School security experience preferred
- Hospitality experience is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Language Ability:
o Ability to communicate effectively speaking the primary language of the residents.
o Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
o Computer knowledge is essential for this position.
Cognitive Demands:
o Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
