RN / ADON - Qualifications:
- Current and valid Missouri RN license.
- Assisted Living, Long Term Care/SNF, or related experience.
- Be a self-starter and able to work independently.
- Ability to establish effective relationships with residents, family members and staff.
RN / ADON Responsibilities:
- Work as a team with DON on all nursing facility objectives
- Ensure that your staff are following care plans.
- Chart on all residents under your care.
- Work within the scope of your license.
- Responsible for all nursing care of all residents during his/her shift.
- Supervision of the nursing department and performance of staff assigned to his/her zone or hall including nursing assistants and medication aid.
- Provide education and guidance to the staff under your assigned area.
- Take verbal and written orders from medical personnel and transcribe, note and follow up on the orders and document the nursing notes.
- Rotating On-Call and Weekend shifts with DON and other nurse supervisors
