Woodlands of Arnold is looking for a dynamic person for our housekeeping team. Includes excellent cleanliness standards to attend all areas of our facilities. The goal is to ensure residents are in clean, comfortable conditions while adhering to state guidelines.
Housekeeping Aide Shift: 7a-3p Weekdays, with rotating every other weekend
Housekeeping Aide Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a housekeeper aide preferred
- Maintains a professional appearance.
- Must have knowledge of all safety and emergency procedures.
- Ability to work independently and remain motivated
- Prioritization and time management skills
- Professionalism along with speed and attention to detail
- Quality team player
Housekeeping Aide Responsibilities:
- Clean, sanitize and tidy all areas according to state standards performed timely and as assigned by supervisor
- Ensures all resident and facility items are thoroughly laundered using laundry products as directed by the supervisor, adhering to state and federal guidelines for clean/safety standards
- Follow established safety work area procedure
- Changing gloves and washing hands between rooms
- Use of wet floor signage
- Assuring all infection control procedures are followed
- Clean and polish furnishing, fixtures, ledges, heaters, A/C units, picture frames as well as all resident belongings
- Clean windows, mirrors, bathrooms, walls, ceiling, floors, tubs and showers
- Clean floor by sweeping, moping and dusting
- Remove dirt, dust, grease, film from surfaces using proper cleaning products as instructed
- Take out trash and ensure trash containers are fire rated
- Report danger/safety concerns to supervisor
