We are seeking a dedicated Laundry Aide to join our team. We are a skilled nursing facility and service laundry needs of our residents.
Laundry Duties
- Operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment efficiently and safely.
- Sort, wash, dry, and fold linens and garments according to established procedures.
- Ensure all items are cleaned and presented to the highest standards.
- Deliver laundry to correct resident rooms.
- Restock bed linens, towels, etc to nurses stations.
- Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area by regularly cleaning machines and workspaces.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Laundry Aide Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on cleanliness and organization.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads as needed.
