- Manage and facilitate poolside games, team-building activities, and other recreational programs.
- Maintain knowledge of all recreation offers and communicate effectively with guests.
- Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas.
- Monitor guest safety, report hazards, and assist with event logistics.
- Lead group activities, provide instructions over a microphone, and engage with large audiences.
- Handle guest complaints and ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain inventory of equipment and supplies (craft materials, event supplies, etc.).
- Assist with opening/closing pool areas and water attractions.
- Work with Recreation Supervisors to manage staffing and break coverage.
- Stay informed about hotel services and local attractions to assist guests.
- Ensure adherence to departmental policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Assist in the daily operations of recreational facilities.
- Demonstrate enthusiasm, creativity, and crowd management skills.
- Lift and move up to 50 lbs. as required.
- High school diploma/GED required.
- 2 years of recreation, hospitality, or special events experience preferred.
- Current First Aid & CPR certification.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment.
- Ability to withstand various weather conditions.
- Previous experience with children and fluency in Spanish is a plus.
- Valid driver's license required for operating company vehicles.
- Must be 18 Years of Age or Older
