Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations within the facility to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Supervise staff and coordinate patient care activities to enhance service delivery.
- Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
- Conduct assessments and develop care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive healthcare services.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary based on evaluations.
- Ensure effective communication with patients, families, and staff regarding care plans and facility policies.
- Participate in training and development programs for staff to promote professional growth.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in skilled nursing or related healthcare settings, particularly in nursing homes or assisted living facilities.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a diverse team.
- Knowledge of home health, hospice care, and MDS processes is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Understanding of anatomy and healthcare systems relevant to patient care management.
- Experience in developing care plans based on individual patient assessments is beneficial.
