What are the responsibilities and job description for the Treatment Nurse- RN position at The Woods at Sharon?
SHC IS looking to hire a passionate employee willing to learn. This position requires the candidate to have a flexible schedule. Some weekends/on call may be required.
Must be licensed RN in good standing with the Department of Financial and Professional Regulation. Wound experience preferred but not required.
Some job responsibilities will include:
Daily, weekly, monthly skin checks completed on day shift depending on the condition of the resident’s skin
Complete treatments as ordered
Complete body assessment on all new residents and re-admissions within 24 hrs. (Floor nurse to complete if TX Nurse is not here)
Report of skin condition completed and mailed to POA, Guardian and/or family member after completion. Updates to be reported by phone and recorded
Skin note and progress not to be completed when assessed
Weekly rounding with the wound Doctor
Processing all physician orders related to wound care treatment
Collaboration with the wound supply nurse monthly
Change O2 tubing, Neb. Tubing, weekly
Clean BIPAP and CPAP weekly
Change catheter and urinary drainage bags as ordered by the MD
