Steel Fabricator

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our 204 year old company. The ideal candidate will have experience in working with various materials, cutting, threading, bending, small amount of welding. It is the responsibility of the fabricator to keep the work area clean and organized once a task is complete. You would be trained by experienced people in all of the required fields. Attitude is the most import trait, a willingness to learn is imperative. We are successful as a company because we strive to keep long term customers and employees.

Responsibilities

• Operate a band saw. Cutting threaded rod, or round bar mostly.
• Operate a Landis threading machine. These machines thread round bar from 1/2" up to 2" diameter.
• Must be able to read and use a tape measure. Basic math is a constant requirement for this position.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications.

Experience

• Proven experience in fabrication or similar field
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

This position would pay $25-$27.50 per hour depending on skill and ability. If you have specific experience that you think would be relevant please include that in your resume.

This position would include Full paid health insurance. We offer a family plan as well, your individual insurance would be paid 100%, and we would pay 50% of your family members health insurance.

We offer a 401K plan, with money put in by the company once or twice a year depending on profitability.

We offer paid vacation. 2 weeks paid with 5 sick days. This is accrued over time, the specifics will depend on when the individual is hired for the position.

We offer a $200 dollars annual clothing allowance. This can be spent on boots or clothing.

Pay: $25.00 - $27.50 per hour
