WHAT IS THE WOOL FACTORY?
The Wool Factory is a historic textile mill that was first built over 200 years ago. Currently operating as an event venue, The Workshop (coffee, wine, pastries), Broadcloth (our high end dining experience).
We are looking for people to join our seasonal event staff. We seek to build a diverse, vibrant and creative team of individuals that will help us strengthen our brand with their unique experience. We will train new hires on how to prepare, serve and talk about our offerings.

EVENT BARTENDER RESPONSIBILITIES:
As an Event Bartender you will be responsible for setting up alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a neat and timely manner, providing undeviating customer service while following all VA ABC laws and The Wool Factory standards of service, as well as being fully responsible for breaking down the main bar and mobile bars while adhering to our cleaning standards.
EVENT SERVER RESPONSIBILITIES:
As an Event Server you will be responsible for setting up the event, providing undeviating customer service throughout the event, breaking down all service equipment, and thoroughly cleaning the space(s) utilized during the event.
EVENT SET UP & BREAKDOWN RESPONSIBILITIES:
As an Event Set Up and Break Down team member you will be responsible for rearranging the furniture in the space to the specifications shared in the floorplan and pull sheets provided.
SAFETY | ALL ROLES :
These positions require the ability to remain on your feet for extended periods of time, as well as move heavy objects, up to 50lbs.
SCHEDULE
Event staff have the flexibility to pick up event shifts that work with their schedule and availability.
Minimum Shift Requirement A minimum of four shifts per quarter is required in order to remain an active event employee.
