The Workz is a family owned one stop destination for everyone. We have a restaurant, bar and arcade that has video games as well as bowling lanes. We host live bands on the weekends and always have something exciting going on! We are open Wednesday-Sunday
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team. As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in our kitchen. Your main duties will include washing dishes, utensils, and other kitchen equipment. The ideal candidate should have previous experience in a kitchen environment and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Duties
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashers or by hand
- Ensure that all dishes are properly cleaned, sanitized, and stored
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as peeling vegetables or portioning ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, floors, and equipment
- Empty trash cans and dispose of waste properly
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
- Assist with bussing tables and resetting them for the next guests
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a kitchen or hospitality setting is preferred
- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
