The Workz is a family owned one stop destination for everyone. We have a restaurant, bar and arcade that has video games as well as bowling lanes. We host live bands on the weekends and always have something exciting going on! We are open Wednesday-Sunday
We are seeking an Expeditor to join our team. As an Expeditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of food and beverage orders in our establishment. Responsibilities
- Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food orders
- Communicate with servers and other front-of-house staff to ensure accurate order delivery
- Monitor food preparation and presentation to ensure quality standards are met
- Assist with food preparation and plating when needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role in the hospitality industry is preferred
- Knowledge of banquet, culinary, or restaurant operations is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Basic knowledge of food safety and handling procedures
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
