Teacher
- Plan both long- and short-range activities with current curriculum objectives, developmentally appropriate practice and program philosophy
- Meet the educational, social and emotional needs of all children in your care
- Maintain an appropriate classroom environment in accordance to the program goals and philosophy
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment
- Maintain daily open communication with parents
- Prepare monthly newsletter and calendar
- File accident reports
- Maintain anecdotal records
- Maintain confidentiality
- Report abuse and/or neglect to supervisor and DCF
- Inspect and report lost or damaged materials to your supervisor
- Attend in-service trainings and staff meetings
- Encourage Teacher Aides to contribute to planning classroom activities
- Meet all licensing regulations
- Responsible for assigned cleaning of the facility
- Conduct self-evaluations
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.35 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
