JOB SUMMARY

The Clinical Services Manager directly manages clinical services provided within the Eastern States (MI/IN/TN/NY/GA/FL) and is accountable for the performance of clinicians in quality, service, and efficiency in care across all care settings. The Clinical Services Manager implements strategies developed to meet goals set around key performance indicators for their region. The manager is responsible for the delivery of care in their designated region and consistently communicates, monitors operations in the field, and leads the team by ensuring accountability from all. The Clinical Services Manager is responsible for monitoring performance through a review of data and key performance indicators and for implementing and monitoring performance improvement actions to improve areas of need. The manager builds relationships with agencies, facilities, and partners located in the region and is responsible for supporting the field clinician.


WHAT ARE YOUR ASSIGNMENTS

  • Lead, mentor, and evaluate field clinicians in the designated region to optimize efficiency, morale, and satisfaction for employees, providers, and patients.
  • Directly manages clinicians in the field and evaluates the performance of clinical personnel, offering support, coaching, and mentoring as needed.
  • Adheres to the organization's progressive disciplinary action process as needed and appropriate.
  • Assesses clinician competency and training needs.
  • Collaborates with the Internal Clinical Development department to ensure that training content and delivery meet clinician needs.
  • Implements and monitors compliance with quality, standard of care compliance, and patient/customer experience programs and initiatives for the region.
  • Implements and monitors compliance with performance improvement initiatives for the region.
  • Drives operational efficiency and effectiveness by clearly communicating expectations, regularly monitoring performance, and ensuring consistent accountability in performance.
  • Respond to relevant incident reports, providing feedback and necessary corrective action, including follow-up and documentation.
  • Reviews and understands performance metrics and proactively addresses areas of performance improvement.
  • Serves as a liaison between clinicians, clients, partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Proactively addresses areas for improvement in care delivery and patient outcomes.
  • Implements and monitors corrective and preventive actions to address identified quality issues.
  • Stay informed on healthcare advances, regulations, insurance changes, and delivery system innovations.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of skilled clinicians.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to clinicians.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clinicians, patients, families, and customers.
  • Understands the environment and standards of practice across all care settings and manages a team of clinicians, ensuring that competency in all areas is maintained.
  • Performs ride-along and intentionally visits sites of care to build relationships, monitor performance, and evaluate processes.
  • Acts as a liaison between the clinician and leadership, ensuring that clinician needs and feedback are heard,d and effectively communicates new information and updates to the clinician from other key stakeholders in the organization.
  • Adheres to all confidentiality, quality assurance, and compliance standards, including HIPAA, OSHA, and anti-discriminatory policies.
  • Implements, monitors, and maintains adherence to systems of accountability consistent with the clinical services enterprise.
  • Complete additional duties to support organizational goals.

ATTRIBUTES NEEDED FOR THE ROLE

  • NP or PA with active state licensure and Board Certification
  • 5 years of clinical experience post-licensure.
  • 2 years of experience in healthcare management or administration preferred
  • Wound Care Certification required (or become certified within 1 year)
  • Valid and unrestricted driver’s license
  • Current BLS Certification
