The Wrex Group LLC. was formed in 2011. Doing business as Big Boy's Towing & Recovery, the 2 co-owners had a BIG vision in mind. The Wrex Group LLC would scale across Missouri to serve their customers in one of the best ways possible, their response time. In order to achieve this, they had to strategically add trucks and locations.
Starting with one truck and no locations, The Wrex Group LLC has scaled to over 50 trucks and 7 locations. With all of the equipment and locations, they have added a great staff. To continue scaling, The Wrex Group LLC has begun to form the executive managment team. They are now looking to add a great Human Resources department.
HR Manager
Your job will be to launch the HR department with assistance by management. In this position, your primary duty will be to collect and manage all data pertaining to our employees, but you will also be involved in the recruiting, hiring, and training of new employees. If you are passionate about HR operations and you would like to give your contribution in creating a great company culture, this is the right position for you. Pay will be based on experience.
HR Manager job duties and responsibilities:
- Help organize and manage new employee orientation, on-boarding, and training programs
- Organize, compile, update company personnel records and documentation
- Manage and update HR databases with different information such as new hires, terminations, sick leaves, warnings, vacation and days off
- Help in payroll management, preparation and payment
- Prepare, manage and store paperwork for HR policies and procedures
- Answer employees’ questions and provide requested information
- Maintain schedule and coordinate calendar activities
- Assist in posting job ads on careers pages and processing received resumes
- Create reports for senior management
HR Manager job requirements:
- Previous working experience as an HR Manager for 3 years
- Ability to effectively use computer software including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and HR software
- Knowledge of HR software (HRIS or HRMS and Recruitment Marketing platforms)
- Familiarity with labor laws
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Act as a reliable and supportive team member
- BS in human resources or similar relevant field preferred
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
- Data-driven mindset
- Experience with recruitment marketing
COMPENSATION:
- Pay structure based on experience
- HEALTH, VISION AND DENTAL INSURANCE available after probation period (Employee portion is covered by Employer)
