Summary
As a Direct Care Worker at The Wright Agency LLC, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our clients through personalized care and support. This position is essential for helping our clients maintain their independence and dignity while receiving the assistance they need in their daily lives.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care to clients in their homes.
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor client health conditions.
- Prepare meals according to dietary needs and preferences.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental stimulation and well-being.
- Observe and report changes in client behavior or health status to supervisors.
- Support clients with mobility assistance and transportation as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in home care or direct patient care is preferred.
- Strong understanding of working with individuals with disabilities or autism.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to perform physical tasks related to patient care.
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
