We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Direct Care Worker to join our team at The Wright Agency LLC. In this role, you will provide essential support to our clients in their homes, ensuring their comfort and well-being while promoting independence. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor client health.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
- Prepare meals according to dietary needs and preferences.
- Support clients with memory care activities and cognitive stimulation.
- Ensure client safety by observing changes in behavior or health conditions.
- Advocate for resident rights and promote independence in daily tasks.
Requirements
- Previous experience in direct care or a related field is preferred.
- Strong understanding of patient care principles and practices.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and families.
- Ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is a plus.
