We are seeking a Direct Care Worker to join our team at The Wright Agency LLC. This role is essential in providing compassionate support to our clients in their homes, assisting with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct assistance to clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Support clients with mobility and physical tasks, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Monitor clients' health and well-being, reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist with memory care and dementia-related activities to enhance clients' quality of life.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain client confidentiality at all times.
- Engage clients in social activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional support.
- Work collaboratively with family members and other caregivers to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements
- Experience in senior care or working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
- Knowledge of memory care practices and dementia support techniques is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and their families.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by client needs.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining client privacy.
