As a Direct Care Worker at The Wright Agency LLC, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by providing personalized care and support. This position is essential in delivering compassionate assistance to elderly and disabled individuals within their homes.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure dietary needs are met.
- Support clients with mobility and daily living activities to promote independence.
- Engage clients in social activities to enhance their emotional well-being.
- Monitor clients' health and report any changes to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients at all times.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and ensure client confidentiality is upheld.
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in home community care or senior care is preferred.
- Knowledge of dementia care practices is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to caregiving.
- Ability to prepare nutritious meals according to client preferences and dietary restrictions.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations is a plus.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is beneficial but not required.
