We are seeking a Direct Care Worker to join our team at The Wright Agency LLC. In this role, you will provide essential support to our clients in their homes, assisting with daily living activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being. Your contributions will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those we serve.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients' health conditions.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to enhance their quality of life.
- Help clients with mobility and physical tasks as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to supervisors.
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements
- Previous experience in caregiving or direct care roles is preferred.
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols is essential.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and families.
- Ability to work compassionately with individuals with disabilities or chronic illnesses.
