Summary
We are seeking a Direct Care Worker to join our team at The Wright Agency LLC. In this role, you will provide essential support and assistance to our clients in their homes, enhancing their quality of life through compassionate care tailored to their individual needs.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Monitor and document patient health and behavior changes.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Administer medication as prescribed and ensure adherence to care plans.
- Support clients with mobility and physical activities as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals regarding client needs.
Requirements
- Previous experience in direct care or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of CPR and first aid certification is required.
- Strong understanding of patient monitoring techniques and patient rights under HIPAA.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia is highly desirable.
- Compassionate demeanor with excellent communication skills.
